Pearl Harbor Essay -- World War II WWII

Bombing of driblet view asWorld War II was a war that everyone will remember and will be remembered for many years to come. It could even be said that it killed much people, destroyed more property, and had furthest more reaching effects than any other war in history. New technologies were used in the war, such as the Atomic bomb, which opened up the atomic age. Pearl oblige was one of those events that will never be forgotten by the Statesns. Pearl Harbor was especially unforgettable to America because that caused us to devil involved in the war and it outraged everyone in the country. The United States played a key role in the war. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was a major turning point in World War II.The United States planned not to get involved in the war. The majority of the commonwealth in the country thought we should stay out of the war and remain neutral, although most American hoped that the Allies would be victorious. The Allies consisted of 50 different countries by the depot of the war. The United States, Soviet Union, China, and striking Britain were among the Allies. Germany, Italy, and japan made up the alliance known as the axis of rotation. Six other nations joined the Axis afterwards in the war. In 1939, President Franklin D. Roosevelt announced the neutrality of the United States after the war had started. Roosevelt and other interventionists wanted to aid other Allie nations in fighting the Axis. Isolationists contrasted the unite STATES aid to warring nations. Roosevelt was then accused of steering the UNITED STATES into a war they were not prepared to fight. Roosevelts strategy to defeat the Axis was to fit the nation, fight the Axis with ships, tanks, aircrafts and other war technologies.The whole situation of Pearl Harbor started in 1940 the Japanese forces were in China. The Chinese presidency leader, Chiang Kai-Shek and his government fled to cardinal China. To force China to surrender, Japan cut off Chinas supplies re aching Southeast Asia to China. Japan also wanted the resources of Southeast Asia to themselves. Japan began building an conglomerate called the Great Asia Co.- Prosperity Sphere. The United States opposed Japans expansion. Then in 1941 the Japanese began moving into Northern Indochina. The United States responded by cutting exports to Japan. This was very bad for Japan because the Japanese industries heavily relied on scrap metal, petroleum, and ot... ...rican people. It was desirable to make sure that theJapanese would be the ones to do this so that there should remain no inquiry in any ones mind as to who were the aggressors. (Cavendish, 643). By Roosevelt saying this it makes him seem like he has control over human life. I think that Roosevelt did pick out a role to play in causing the bombing of Pearl Harbor but IM not for sure.In conclusion, the bombing of Pearl Harbor was a memorable event for Americans. The Allied forces benefited greatly from the United States elaborat eness in The Allied forces later went on to win the war.
